Some people in the City of Orange feel that areas of their faces lack definition. Typical spots that individuals complain about include the chin and cheeks. Thankfully, an Orange Chin and Cheek implant procedure can address these concerns by adding definition and plumpness to these areas. Implants are permanent and are made from materials that are safe to be placed underneath the skin and underlying tissues. Many times, silicone is used for implants.
Dr. Tavoussi always performs his Orange County chin and cheek implants at the Pacifica Outpatient Surgery Center just north of our Newport Beach office. This surgery center is fully accredited and has experienced anesthesiologists and registered nurses on staff. Patients will come here in the morning for their surgical procedure and be recovered here briefly following the procedure. They will then be allowed to go home the same day to recover fully. Patients from the City of Orange will not want to plan on returning to work for about a week to allow any pain and swelling to dissipate. At home, they will need to follow their discharge instructions for caring for their incisions and for resting. They will be given prescription medication for any pain that they may have. Those who have an outer incision from a chin implant may need to have sutures removed in approximately a week during a follow-up appointment with Dr. Tavoussi.
Some patients may be concerned about the cost of these Orange facial implants because they do require a surgical procedure. The cost can vary dramatically based on the size and type of material to be used for the implants as well as on the number of implants to be done at one time. In addition, patients from the City of Orange should be aware that they will be paying for anesthesiology, operating room, and recovery room costs as well as the services of the surgeon. Other costs could include prescription medications as well as any lab tests that are ordered prior to the procedure. Health insurance rarely covers these costs, but we may be able to offer Orange patients a payment plan that will work for them.
