Santa Ana Ethnic Rhinoplasty Cosmetic Surgery | Dr. Tavoussi

Non-Caucasian patients have different needs when it comes to a Santa Ana rhinoplasty than people of Northern European descent do. The structure of their noses is different from the bridge and the tip to the nostrils. Only a cosmetic surgeon experienced in Santa Ana ethnic rhinoplasties should undertake this type of nose job.

Dr. Tavoussi provides amazing care to patients of all ethnic heritages, including Hispanics, Asians, African Americans and Middle Eastern individuals. A Santa Ana Ethnic Rhinoplasty can address problems with the shape and size of the nose, helping patients improve their appearance cosmetically. Some patients may even need a rhinoplasty for medical reasons if they have a narrowed nasal structure that impedes their breathing. Patients who have ethnic rhinoplasties performed for a medical reason may be able to have the cost of the procedure covered by health insurance.
Santa Ana Ethnic Rhinoplasty Procedure

Prior to a Santa Ana Ethnic Rhinoplasty, patients will meet with Dr. Tavoussi at the OC Cosmetic Surgery Clinique in Newport Beach. They will discuss the procedure itself as well as desired expectations. The doctor can provide pictures of people who have undergone this procedure and can use our computer software to simulate expected results using a current picture of the patient.

For the procedure itself, Santa Ana patients will head to the Pacifica Outpatient Surgery Center in Orange County, which is an accredited facility staffed with qualified anesthesiologists. Dr. Tavoussi will access the nose using several incisions designed to lift the skin and underlying tissues. Following the reshaping of the bone structure, he will re-drape the skin, hiding the incisions to decrease or eliminate scarring.
Santa Ana Ethnic Rhinoplasty Recovery

Santa Ana patients will feel some discomfort for several days and should not consider returning to work for a week. They will have pain, which can be controlled with prescription medication, and may have some bruising and bleeding around the incision sites. They may also have a slight headache and a feeling of nasal stuffiness for a week or two. Swelling can be controlled by keeping the head elevated and by applying cold compresses to the affected site. Patients will need to treat the nose with great care as it heals.

Our patients who have undergone Santa Ana Ethnic Rhinoplasty have been quite pleased with the results they have received at our Clinique. We provide a safe and inviting atmosphere from start to finish. Our modern approach allows patients to feel safe and confident throughout the entire experience.
