Non-Caucasian patients have different needs when it comes to a Santa Ana rhinoplasty than people of Northern European descent do. The structure of their noses is different from the bridge and the tip to the nostrils. Only a cosmetic surgeon experienced in Santa Ana ethnic rhinoplasties should undertake this type of nose job.
Prior to a Santa Ana Ethnic Rhinoplasty, patients will meet with Dr. Tavoussi at the OC Cosmetic Surgery Clinique in Newport Beach. They will discuss the procedure itself as well as desired expectations. The doctor can provide pictures of people who have undergone this procedure and can use our computer software to simulate expected results using a current picture of the patient.
Santa Ana patients will feel some discomfort for several days and should not consider returning to work for a week. They will have pain, which can be controlled with prescription medication, and may have some bruising and bleeding around the incision sites. They may also have a slight headache and a feeling of nasal stuffiness for a week or two. Swelling can be controlled by keeping the head elevated and by applying cold compresses to the affected site. Patients will need to treat the nose with great care as it heals.
