Dr. Tavoussi - Temecula Mini Facelift | Orange County Cosmetic Surgery

A Temecula mini facelift is one of the preferred facelift methods employed across the country today. It uses similar techniques to those used in traditional facelifts. However, the main differences include smaller incisions and less lifting of the mid-face regions. Instead, a Temecula mini facelift is used primarily to address concerns of the lower face, including the jaw and chin. The Temecula mini facelift is a favorite for many people who deal with genetic predispositions to jaw and chin sagging. It can lift these areas, restore definition to the lower face and create a beautiful and youthful-looking profile.

Mini Facelift Cosmetic Procedures in Orange County & Riverside County

Our patients at the OC Cosmetic Surgery Clinique in Newport Beach love Temecula mini facelifts because they use only small incisions that are easily hidden around the ears and next to the hairline. Not only does this lead to little or no visible scarring, but also it makes the entire recovery process easier. Patients experience less pain, bruising and swelling than they would with traditional facelifts.

Sometimes called a weekend facelift, this procedure is still done under general anesthesia in our offsite surgical center, Pacifica Outpatient Surgery Center. We use only ACLS-certified registered nurses and experienced anesthesiologists to provide our patients the highest quality of care.
Consult Dr. Tavoussi About Temecula Mini Facelift Surgery

Those who choose a Temecula mini facelift will first have a full consultation with Dr. Tavoussi. He will help patients determine if they are the right candidates for the procedure and if they will be able to benefit from it or would be best benefited by a different treatment. He will also take the time to discus the patient’s goals for skin care, beauty and aging to ensure that the entire team is on the same page.

On the day of the surgery, the patient will be asleep throughout the entire procedure. Dr. Tavoussi will use an SMAS, or superficial muscular aponeurotic system, approach to lift and tighten all of the affected tissues rather than focusing on skin alone. A Temecula mini facelift will provide longer-lasting and more natural-looking results when it takes into account sagging muscles, fat and excessive tissues beneath the skin.

Following the procedure, Temecula patients will need to plan to take time to heal from the procedure. They will be given a prescription to control pain and will be set up with a follow-up appointment. Many patients are able to return to their regular activities within a week after the procedure.
