Orange County Eyelid Surgery - Dr. Mohsen Tavoussi

Newport Beach residents who are dreaming of having a more rested and youthful look should consider Eyelid Surgery at OC Cosmetic Surgery Clinique, which serves all communities in Orange County. Our goal at the Clinique is to serve our patients by helping them attain their best, most beautiful looks. Sometimes, individuals may feel a lack of confidence in their eyes as they age. The upper eyelids may appear droopy as the muscles fall and excess fat deposits around the eye. The lower eyelids may begin to sag. These can combine to decrease peripheral vision as well as to make the face appear tired.

Reshaping The Eyelids

Newport Beach Eyelid Surgery can help with these concerns by removing excess fat and skin from around the eye and reshaping the eyelids. While this surgery will not remove crow’s feet, fine wrinkles or circles under the eyes, it can make the eyes appear more toned and wider. This surgery may need to be repeated down the road as the further affects of time and age show their wear.

Our cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Tavoussi, has performed many eyelid surgeries on people of all ages and ethnicities. He is an expert at creating a more youthful-looking eyelid without removing the look of one’s ethnic heritage. As a double-board certified surgeon, he gives patients the confidence they need to entrust themselves to his skillful hands.

Our surgeries are performed at Pacifica Outpatient Surgery Center just north of Newport Beach. Pacifica offers the secure environment that our patients desire while having the skilled anesthetists and nurses that are needed for all types of outpatient surgeries and recoveries. Eyelid surgery is a same-day procedure and can often be performed with local anesthetic and intravenous medication to help with relaxation. However, some people combine this with another procedure, such as a facelift or brow lift. In this case, it may be performed under general anesthesia.

Newport Beach Cosmetic Surgery & Recovery

Following the procedure, the patient will spend some time in a recovery room and go home a few hours later. The patient will be instructed to avoid stress to the new incisions, to rest with the head elevated and to avoid wearing contacts for approximately two weeks. He or she will also have a follow-up appointment with Dr. Tavoussi in a day or two. Our skilled and safe approach has left numerous Newport Beach patients thankful that they went ahead with a face-changing eyelid surgery.
